Valentine’s Day is four weeks away and I have my mind on some pretty pink treats! When we think of Valentine’s, roses are bound to be on top of the list. Hence my inspiration for these Rose Water infused cupcakes. The secret to these cupcakes are simply a tablespoon of rose water in your favorite white cupcake recipe — et voila!
Rose water is known to contain multiple vitamins and have various health benefits. Although one tablespoon of rose water won’t cure sore throats or have significant anti-aging impact, I can assure you this cupcake pairing will increase your happiness.
Rose water, as its name shows, is full of rose fragrant, which makes it challenging to pair with any types of wine. For this pairing, I narrowed it down to Riesling. However, I wouldn’t recommend just any brand of Riesling. The perfect pairing is with a bottle of 2017 Dr. Heidemanns-Bergweiler Riesling.
